2017-03-24 ISS crew members took to the open space
ISS crew members NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrow and ESA Toma Peske stepped onto the outer surface of the International Space Station for scheduled maintenance work.
During the spacewalk, astronauts will prepare a sealed docking adapter to install the second international docking adapter of the station, which will be used for future ISS docking with manned spacecraft.
Also Shane Kimbrow and Tom Peske will carry out maintenance of the space station radiator, where an ammonia leak was previously identified.
