Misha Balakirev Street is a pedestrian street in the city district «Center-2» of the town of Klin. Misha Balakirev, a thirteen-year-old pioneer hero who was shot by the Nazis in 1941, collected weapons and organized pioneers to fight the invaders.
Afanasyev Square is one of the main places for recreation in the center of Klin. The square is named after the native of Klin, twice Hero of Socialist Labor, Afanasyev Sergey Alexandrovich.
