Ai-Petri (translated from Greek as St. Peter) is a peak in the Crimean mountains, as part of the Ai-Petri Yayla. The height of the mountain is 1234 meters above sea level. The silhouette of Mount Ai-Petri completes the line of the amphitheater from Cape Ai-Todor with the Swallow's Nest to the famous white battlements. The teeth of Ai-Petri consist of four large (12-15 meters high) and a number of small sheer peaks formed during the weathering of heterogeneous reef limestones.

The peak of Ai-Petri is considered the windiest place in the Crimea (a wind farm was even built on the plateau on which this webcam is installed, but due to a breakdown it is currently not functioning). Also on the plateau in Soviet times, a complex of radar stations for tracking outer space was built.

Bedene-Kyr (translated from the Turkic Quail Mountain) is a hill with three bare peaks. It is located on the Ai-Petri Yaila in the Crimea, 4.5 km to the NW from Mount Ai-Petri. From the south, the mountain appears as a dome. On the southern slope, Bedene-Kyr is covered with rocky belts, on the northern and eastern slopes - with groves.
