PTZ webcam in the Central District of Saint Petersburg
Live PTZ webcam is installed on the building of the Karl Bulla Historical Photography Foundation in the Central District of Saint Petersburg. The camera in real time shows a view of Nevsky Prospekt, the main and busiest street of the Northern capital.
At the corner of Nevsky Prospekt and Sadovaya Street is the Russian National Library — one of the largest libraries in the world, founded in the 18th century (visible in the extreme right position of the live cam). On the right, across the road, is the historic building of Bolshoy Gostiny Dvor — a cultural heritage site. The oldest and most famous trading company of the capital of the Russian Empire, Leningrad and modern Saint Petersburg.
In the extreme left position, the PTZ webcam covers the panorama of the legendary Catherine Garden, one of the oldest squares, where a monument to Catherine II was erected in 1873. Behind the square is the Alexandrinsky Theater, which is included in the register of especially valuable objects of cultural heritage of the Russian Federation and is the oldest national theater in Russia.
