Live webcam shows the Memorial of the Heroic Defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942 in real time. The camera is located to the left of the Memorial and looks towards the Eternal Flame and Post №1. Memorial in honor of the heroes of the second defense of Sevastopol is a monument on Nakhimov Square in Sevastopol city dedicated to the defenders of Sevastopol during the Great Patriotic War. Located on the site of the building of the Naval Assembly, destroyed during the war.
The massive reinforced concrete relief of the Memorial depicts a warrior repelling the onslaught of the enemy. The three bayonets symbolize the three attacks of the Nazis on the city, made by them in November, December 1941 and June 1942.
On May 10, 1973, Post No. 1 was opened at the memorial wall, where Sevastopol schoolchildren are on guard of honor.
