Live webcam shows the Live view of the Novodevichy Convent in Moscow, on the Virgin's Field in a bend of the Moskva River, near Luzhniki, at the end of the historical Prechistenka (now Big Pirogov street).

The camera is installed on Malaya Pirogovskaya Street in the 526th block in the Khamovniki district in the Central Administrative District of Moscow and looks east towards the monastery and the Luzhnetskaya overpass.

Novodevichy Monastery Virgin of Smolensk - Orthodox Convent in Moscow founded by Grand Prince Vasily III in 1524 - in honor of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God «Hodegetria» - the main sanctuary of Smolensk, in gratitude for the capture of Smolensk in 1514. The architectural ensemble of the monastery, formed in the XVI-XVII centuries, since then has not changed significantly. As an exclusive for the safety of the Moscow baroque specimen is put under the protection of UNESCO and declared the province of all mankind.

The current monastery is under the joint jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church and the State Historical Museum. Since 2010, the church museum are works of the Moscow diocese.
