Osprey Nest Webcam in Wales, UK
Live PTZ webcam shows the osprey nest in real time. The camera is installed in the Dyfi Osprey Project, near the village of Derwenlas in northern Povis, Wales, UK. With this web camera you can observe the life of wild birds in their natural habitat. You will see how the osprey hatch their chicks and prepare them for an independent life. The operator periodically changes the angle in order to show all the most interesting of what is going on in the nest of the osprey and around it.
On the video from this live web cam in the nest you can see a few scopes. You can distinguish birds by the marks on the rings on their paws:
KS4 = Alys, female;
KS5 = Helyg, female;
KS6 = Dinas, male.
The sound in translation from the web camera is missing, because birds damaged the microphone.
Live webcam at the nest osprey provides an opportunity to join the observation of wild birds without interfering in their lives. The video broadcast is in real time in high definition Full HD.

Interesting shots with the webcam: 1The information about this nest location needs updating. The Dyfi Osprey Project is run by the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, and the nest and observatory are near Machynlleth, in Powys, mid Wales. In 2021 the two adult birds are Idris (male, no ring) and Telyn (female, Blue 3J). Their two chicks are Dysynni (male, Blue 490) and Ystwyth (female, Blue 491). The nest audio is fine.

This is easily the best Osprey cam I have seen in the UK. I like the way somebody actually controls it now and again, zooming in when something interesting is happening. Well done to all concerned.
