Eagles are the ancestors of birds of prey from the hawk family. Eagles live on the shores of the seas, large lakes and rivers. Nests are arranged on trees, cut on rocks. They feed on fish, small mammals, birds, and carrion. Eagles are listed in the Red Book of Russia.
