Harbor Bridge is the largest bridge in Sydney, one of the largest steel arch bridges in the world. The length of the bridge is 503 meters. The bridge was opened on March 19, 1932. The model for the bridge was New York's Hell Gate Bridge. Due to the characteristic shape of the arched structure, the bridge was nicknamed «Hanger».
Harbor Bridge connects the business (South Shore), the central part of the city with the North Shore and crosses Port Jackson Bay. The bridge provides road, rail, bicycle and pedestrian communication.
The Barangaroo Game Reserve is a 6-hectare recreated park on a promontory in the northern part of the Barangaroo district. The parkland features lawns, lookouts, walking and biking trails, two new harbor bays, and sandstone rock tide pools.
