This is very nice. Stuck at home with a cold this aft. Enjoying the garden in Sheffield from a suburb of Chicago. Tried leaving a nice rating but it must not have taken. Thanks

I see she's back (I presume it is the same stork) but, today, she's limping. Hope she'll be Ok. Sad to see her make the familiar head-back, clacking greeting, on returning to an empty nest. I repeat my past question: Can anyone tell me if many storks overwinter in Germany?

So happy to see this webcam back ready for winter. Thank you so much.

The female stork has not migrated for several years, staying at the Linheim nest despite snow and ice. The nest appears to be deserted now. Does anyone know if something has happened to her, if she has migrated this year, or if she has moved to another nest at Lindheim?

Watching from New York & I love this site. The birds are very well cared for & they bring a smile to my face.

23 June - Still NO live camera feed - what a shame. No one has checked this and put camera back on line - naughty.
18 June - STILL off-line - is there any reason - what's happened to the storklets - hope they're all OK. Where's the camera feed - screen is black - nothing.
16 June - Now what's happened - camera not working - no pictures. Is everything alright with storklets ? Reached interesting stage with wing flexing... - ready for first flight - don't want to miss !!!
Smaller birds trying to mob eagles off nest at around 15.50. Both birds protecting nest.

It seems that the 4th little storklet didn't make it out of the egg - but the egg definitely did have a hole pecked from the inside - such a shame. And the fifth egg showed no sign at all of hatching. So 3 OK - and 2 not successful.

Please bring back the white storks. I've been watching since nesting, mating, egg hatching. I love watching them. The black storks are beautiful too, but I like my other storks more. Thank you.
I can not see the fourth little storklet
4 May late afternoon - there's a hole in the fourth egg - the fourth little storklet trying to nibble the egg and hatch out. Then parent sits on the nest and we cannnot see anything... !!
